Cameron R. Neilson

Bio: Neilson started photography by watching his dad make prints at a very young age. Early in his freelance career Neilson learned the basics of photography and what makes a goof photo. After college he moved to Jackson Hole, WY and began his commercial career. He became known globally because of his architecture photography. He later moved his studio to New York where he still works and shoots today.

Education: Cameron's love of photography was from his father. His father had him making his own prints by the age of 10. With the influence of a parent Neilson was able to create his own work.

Reason: Neilson states, "Every city in the world has a unique skyline defined by its architecture and landscape." He wants to be the one to capture these skylines, but from a different angle than other photographers. The black and white is used because the prints he makes are developed in black and white, so he wants to keep the same theme.
